The Maddy Monster

Madeline is teething. Our calm and sweet little girl was so not herself today. She was replaced with a monster.

Dear Maddy Monster:

I hope that you enjoyed your stay in our home today. Could you be so kind as to leave? We'd like to have our Madeline back. Thanks!

Best regards,

Maureen and Kevin

I had to laugh when I saw this. I had the exact same day on Tuesday. I even left a note for Crabby Patty on my blog!! It must be in the air because I have heard other moms saying Tuesday and Wed. were horrible!! The sun will come out tomorrow, we hope!!

Poor baby. Teething is hard. I always froze a wet wash rag for her to chew on. Wet it and fold it into a smaller square. You might already do this, but it helped me.

Your great grandmother advised me to rub your gums with whiskey when you were teething.

I did not follow that advice.

Instead, I rubbed my gums (and tongue, and tonsils, throat and tummy) with whiskey. You can't imagine how helpful that was! :)
