Phase II

The bathroom project continues with phase II today. I am sanding the cabinet, doors and drawers and Kevin is taking up the floors. (See phase I here and here.)

I think it should be noted that every time a project is started with the mindset "oh, this will be no big deal" it turns into a day long mess.

From now on I am heading into all home projects thinking it will take us 2 days and be surprised when changing the light bulbs only takes 30 seconds.

No photos right now... but I am sure there will be some once we get the floors, yes, floorS up. I never posted photos after phase I so I will get photos of the re-plastered and re-painted walls too.

by now you should know that a "do-it-yourself job" always turns into "do-it-yourself JOBS". we never seem to be able to fix/redo anything without it creating at least one more fix/redo job...consequently, the time estimates are always way off. the joys of homeownership!

somehow projects seem to do that in our house too... maybe it's contagious? (ha!)

can't wait to see pictures- it's always so worth it when it's done!

Can't wait to see the photos. Thanks for the advice on my post. With your Sony Alpha, does it lag in between taking shots? I am trying to find something that has no or very little lag so I can click away without missing that shot that I always seem to be missing with the old digital cameras.

Sorry I am asking so many questions about this but I just don't know of anyone who has the Alpha. What series of Alpha do you have? 200? 300? 350? Just curious. Thanks again, I need all the help I can get with this stuff!
