Dear Madeline,

It is 6:15am. Two hours before you normally awake for your days. What did I do wrong in this world? Oh the humanity! I usually have these two hours to check my blogs, shower, dry my hair, put on my "face" and eat breakfast.

So please excuse me if I plop you in front of the TV and make you watch Sesame Street while I get ready for my day. You may only be 15 months old, but it is never to early to start you watching the boob tube right? That should buy me a good 15 minutes. That's enough time to shower, dry my hair, eat breakfast, put on make up. Right? My Blogs will just have to wait. Argh.

Love,

Mommy

I did the same with you some days, and look how you turned out. I still see a little Sarah Bernhart peeking through (Oh, the humanity!), and I love that. I love you, too.

Your morning sounds the same as mine. My daughter is 23 months and if she wakes up before I am done reading blogs and getting ready, she gets plugged in. ;) We have to have some me time too.

You voluntarily give up 2 hours of extra sleep in order ot have some alone time?! I don't even have a baby yet and I consider sleeping quality alone time!!! you must really love blogs, showers, make-up, blow drying your hair, and feeling human!!! Of course I'm glad you love it or I wouldn't have distractions when I'm in the office.

15 minutes? Oh my, try 30ish :)

We've all been there and anyone that tells you they haven't has selective amnesia or didn't have an operable TV.

I can sympathize. Quentin got up this morning at 5:30 (usually he gets up between 6:30 and 7:00). I'm exhausted!
