So back to the reason I am posting. There are 11 days until Christmas. So I am going to do my own version of the 12 days of Christmas. I will have a post a day until the 25th!
On the Monday after Thanksgiving, Kevin told me that he needed felt and cotton balls because he had a craft project to do. For any of you who don't know my husband, please know that Kevin is not the crafter in the family... and I think he barely tolerates my love of craft.
But he did a wonderful on this holiday craft project:
Yes, that is a Santa light switch cover! Kevin hung it in Madeline's bedroom and Maddy loves it.
She and Kevin stood there for at least 10 minutes turning the light on and off. It was a wonderful way to kick off our holidays! Now every time Maddy walks in to her room she turns, points and says, "HO, HO!" It's love.mg

tell kevin he's ready for the embellished felt toilet seat cover that has Santa's face on it and when you open the lid you see Santa's face but this time he is covering his eyes. It's a vivid memory from my childhood...yes, Maureen, your grandmother was a crafter too!
