year 4

Today is the day Kevin and I celebrate our four year wedding anniversary!

So far we've eaten breakfast, played with Madeline, eaten lunch, took an afternoon nap (all three of us) and now Ms. Bellie Boo is watching Sesame Street while Kev sucks an incredible amount of water out of our basement. (That is a post for another day...) This afternoon we are heading out into the steamy weather to run some errands.

Aside from the headaches Kev and I both have from last night's concert today has been a great day spent with the only person who gets me.

Kevin, I can't believe it has been 4 years... and what a crazy four years they have been. I love you. ~MoBert

*Blog-o-fest-topia Day 7. A whole week! Although it didn't auto post at 12am I hope you enjoyed it none the less...

So Much Better

More photos from our time outside last night.

Music: "So Much Better" performed by Rockapella

Today Madeline and I went to the park with some friends and had a fantastic time walking and playing around the lake there. I expected her to crash in the car but she talked to me the whole way home about how much fun she had at the park and our trip to the airport to drop off my Grandma (aka. Ma) this morning. She has been so much fun lately! She is such a doll. We got home ate lunch and now she is napping, and so should I! Off I go!

My First...

Apple picking and pumpkin patching!

Yesterday we spent a lot of the day in Belleville, IL at Eckerts Farm. We went apple picking AND got ourselves two glorious pumpkins! (photos of those to come) I have attempted a photo slideshow and I have no idea how it is going to turn out. So bear with me. You may have to click the stop on the show if it is going to fast and just click through them manually. There were just too many good photos to post on the blog individually! Enjoy!

The last few photos are of Madeline eating the apple crisp I made with the apples we picked. Today I made some home made apple sauce too. Yum, Yummy.
