It's about time!!

So Scott and Becky finally got hitched! After nine years and three months they tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at MoBot. There were lots of family and friends to celebrate with them too.

Kevin (the best man) and Emily, Becky's sister (and maid of honor). Aren't they hot?!

"Uncle" Scott

Scott has made it home from Iraq for his wedding. Becky and his mother have let out huge sighs of relief and we are all really excited to celebrate with them this coming weekend. But first Scizott had to meet Ms. Madeline.

Maddy and Scott hit it off right away. She even gave him a little cuddle time! Welcome to the family Scott!

When we got home Maddy did ask, "Who's the Matador?"

Look at me go!

Our little girl is getting so big!

Just last week (August 6) our little girl rolled over from her tummy to her back twice! Then yesterday, after a lot of grunting, squirming and fussing she rolled from her back to her tummy! She is loving her world right now... and we are so excited that she is getting so strong. But it makes me wonder what happened to the tiny little baby we brought home from the hospital just a few months ago!

Isn't she cute?!

Supervised Visitation

Ethan came over for a visit again this weekend. Both moms and dads were present to make sure there wasn't any funny business. They did get to hold hands however. Man these kids start young.

On Tuesday Maddy had lunch with Steven too. She is playing the field and not letting any one boy tie her down. Leo is still in the running, and dad's co-worker just found out he is having a boy too. She has quite a list to choose from!

Happy 80th Birthday G-ma!

Grandma Marybeth turned 80 years old today! In celebration the family gathered at the Sappington Barn for dinner. It was wonderful to see the whole family together (all 45 of us). To think, without my grandmother none of us would be here. I am grateful for all she has done in her life, for her family and for herself. Here's to many more birthday parties G-ma! It is all about YOU!G-ma Marybeth, Molly and Madeline

By the way....

Aside from Poppy's graduation I also celebrated my three month "birthday" yesterday!

Alice (the mole) and I celebrated with a mid afternoon cuddle.

Then I chewed on my blanket a bit and took a quick nap. All in all it was a very productive day.

Yes, Master

Way to go Grandpa!! Yesterday my grandpa, who I call Poppy, graduated from UMSL with his Masters in Music Education. This makes him the most recent master in the family. (Although I still hold the title of Star, which over rides a master any day!) Not only is he a Master, but is was also the Graduate School Marshal. HE was chosen from all the graduate students to carry the fancy banner and represent his class in the ceremony. He thinks he is Mr. fancy Pants because that meant he got to have lunch with the Provost, Vice Provost and some other big wigs. I guess he is pretty special.... We are so proud of you Poppy! - Love, Maddy

Can we go home yet? It's time for my nap.

Three months old and they are already talking about my graduation. Geez people, can't a girl grow up first?
